Barkfest remains free thanks to support from Tauranga Events Fund

Bringing a brand-new, free community event to Tauranga wouldn’t be possible without the support of our wonderful sponsors and the Tauranga Western Bay Community Event Fund.

The fund is a collaboration between Tauranga City Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Acorn Foundation, BayTrust and TECT—and supports community-led events that enrich the region and deliver positive social outcomes.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support, which is helping us keep Barkfest free for local dogs and their humans to enjoy. Check out more about the fund here https://www.tauranga.govt.nz/news-and-events/events/event-funding/tauranga-western-bay-community-event-fund
